closed down and no longer operates as a Limited company and is therefore no longer

Opsis Practice Management Solutions
Ltd
Opsis Ltd are a leading provider of Case Management,
Accounting and Time Recording software to Legal
Practices. Based in Lincolnshire and with offices
in Ireland, the project involves assisting development of
the Millennium Accounts and Solicitor Case Manager
software products in MS Visual Basic and Borland
Delphi,
and creation
of
an on-line
case
management
system called Weblink, which is integrated
with Solicitor Case Manager utilising some of the latest
web technologies, which allows

clients to view information about
their
conveyancing
case'
progress.
Prior IT also manages the OPSIS
web site,
which includes extensive Search Engine
Optimisation to
ensure high ranking in the most popular Internet
search engines. We have a long-standing
relationship with OPSIS, going back many years
to when it was originally known as Stukeley Computer
Services and developed software using the COBOL
programming language.

Hewlett
Packard / Compaq Computer
Prior IT provided contracted services to
Compaq Computer in Berkshire (now Hewlett Packard),
in both a support and development role,
working on projects related to the specialist large-scale
network equipment monitoring and management system
called TeMIP (Telecommunications Management Information
Platform), which is used by Vodafone, GTS Esprit,
British Telecom and the Cable & Wireless Group.
Prior IT was responsible for critical 24x7 technical support for
TeMIP, on-site project meetings, co-ordination
and feedback, and to provide detailed documentation of
many aspects of the projects.

ACT
Medisys Ltd.
ACT Medisys is the healthcare division
of the ACT Group PLC based in Newbury, Berks,
where Prior IT provided support and consultancy for
the installation of HP-UX and Digital
Unix systems, including on-site configuration
of LVM, kernel, user and printer administrattion,
PC's, network hubs, routers and gateways, and
other hardware peripherals.
Teamwork involved development in Microfocus COBOL of their NHS
Medax software, a complete integrated solution to cover all aspects
of the hospitals work schedule. Modules were designed for Master
Patient Index, Waiting Lists, Outpatients, Accident & Emergency,
Theatre and Nurse Management. In conjunction a Financial System
was designed to handle the complex accounting methods used by
the NHS. Other areas were 'C' programming of comms links between
pathology laboratory test equipment, and the NHS Medax software.
Whilst working for ACT, we also were responsible for the in-house
developed Customer Response Information System, and Source Code
Control System.
Projects involved international travel, working
on hospital installations in Kuwait, Geneva, South Africa and
Ireland.

Stukeley
Computer Services
When Prior IT provided services to Stukeley
(now known as OPSIS Ltd mentioned above), the original
Legal Accounting and Time Recording suite was known
as SOLACE, and was written in Microfocus and RM
COBOL for MSDOS, PCDOS and Unix systems. Prior
IT had major involvement with the management, development
and support of Stukeley's products, including authoring
of the product documentation. Since its original
inception SOLACE has grown over 20 years, and gone
through many changes to become a leading force
in the legal marketplace.
